RWO: Meaty Crisps

Jess writes:

South Africans are obsessed with meat-flavored potato chips and, much to our surprise, they’re extremely good at making them! Some of our tasty flavor favorites have been, “Smokey Beef” and “BBQ Pork Ribs”. However, Adam swears the best are “Sweet Chili” Doritos! My vote is still out, but I’m leaning toward some of the more vegetarian options, such as “Sour Cream & Chive”. Such a stellar combo! And oh so yummy!

  1. Waiting for our flight out of Moscow last summer, Scott and I encountered Bacon Pringles. And yes, they were miraculous. Meat-flavored potato chips must not catch on here in the US. Enjoy your awesome snacking!

  2. here the bacon chips are good. and we have shoshlik flavored ketchup. shoshlik is the Russian equivlent of cooking meat over a fire. both it and the ketchup are quite delicious
